So, this is the final week of detailed reporting on Stan Dunster’s Accountability Coach business for our POMWOMI Challenge. We’ll now give you monthly updates, instead of weekly, so you can see how things are progressing.
This past week we’ve been tweaking Stan’s followers on Twitter. We’re working to find him a solid group of interesting people to follow who either post great content he can share, or people who might need his services who he can connect to. It’s been a fun challenge. He now has 26 followers, and he’s following 82. We’ll let it sit there for a while to see what happens, and then we will probably come in and tweak it again. Stan still needs to “find his rhythm” with Twitter. He often forgets to pop in and take a look, but we’re working on that, too!
We’ve also been working on Stan’s Linked-in page. We’ve got all his information in there now, and but we’re going to leave it alone for the next week and continue to focus on Twitter. Once Stan masters Twitter (probably another two weeks) he’ll have a basic understanding of how to use social networking tools, and we can then move on to other tools.
The plan this week is to set up a “listening post” with Google alerts and show him how to use it to find great information to share and keep an eye on any conversation that might be happening about him.
How about you? Do you need a hand with your social media? We’re looking for another free client for our POMWOMI Challenge starting November 1. If you’re interested, check out the POMWOMI introduction page, and apply for the chance. We’d love to help you!
